FinnVET in China -educational network between Finland and China. Cooperation with educational institutions and businesses; mostly in the areas of Suzhou and Shanghai China, educational institutions include: STFI, SIPIVT and Shanghai Electronic Industry School. The  Goals of the network are to Strengthen cooperation with China in vocational education, in the fields of technology, trade, tourism and catering. To Develop and organize courses, on-the-job learning periods and expert exchanges in China. and to increase professional competition between Finland and China.

Students and teachers from Vamias technical sectors have participated in exchange periods in China.

KEVA NETWORK: DEVELOPMENT COOPERATION, VOLUNTARY WORK, GLOBAL EDUCATION

The themes of  the Keva network are development cooperation, voluntary work and global education. The networks consists of 14 vocational education providers. The aim is to promote active citizenship, entrepreneurship and global responsibility among students and teachers as well as increase cooperation between vocational education and NGOs. The network is yearly sending students and staff to Nepal, Uganda, Tanzania and Namibia.

HANAKO NETWORK

Finland-Japan network for vocational education.

The purpose of HANAKO is to develop and consolidate mutual multidisciplinary cooperation, benchmark best practices for the development of a functional network between the two countries, create innovations for the development of teaching / learning practices, develop teaching materials and enhance international mobility of students and experts. In addition the network arrange Japan/Finland seminars in both Finland and Japan.

INDIA NETWORK

India network for vocational education and traning in Finland.

The objective is to respond to the competence needs of the labour market, to promote the cooperation between training and the enterprises to increase the visibility of Finnish products and services.

Students and teachers from the technical sectors, practical nurse, media assistants and ICT have participated in mobilities to India.

Language test

All applicants must have a valid Duolingo English Test (the test is valid for two years). The test score is submitted to the application. English language test is part of our scoring system and therefore it cannot be waived. We do not accept any other language tests, diplomas or qualifications as proof of language skill.

School certificates, employment or work certificates, Duolingo English Test results and a copy/photo of your passport or ID card.

Do not include in the application: bank information, health information or letters of recommendation.

“If you have been granted a residence permit for studies, you are allowed to work in paid employment in any field for an average of 30 hours per week. The number of working hours can be exceeded some weeks, as long as the average working hours are no more than 30 hours per week at the end of the year. However, your work may not slow down your studies. ”
