DESCRIPTION
In the training, you will learn to program and implement programmable logic and an industrial robot. The content of the training can be customized according to your needs and the needs of working life. The goal is to promote your professional skills and employment. In teaching, we start from the basics, taking into account your starting level.

In education, the teaching material is in Finnish and partly in English. Part of the teaching can be done in English to develop your professional language skills. If necessary, you have the opportunity to complete electrical work safety, work safety, fire work and first aid card training.

The training uses Siemens and Festo programmable logic and KUKA and ABB robots.

TO WHOM
The target group of the training is customers of the TE office who are interested in automation and robotics and who have a previous applicable degree in the field of technology (vocational, technical, university of applied sciences or university degree) .

IMPLEMENTATION
The training is implemented as a multi-format study, which emphasizes practical training tasks and remote tasks. As a rule, the training consists of face-to-face teaching three or four days a week from 08:00 to 15:00 and one or two remote days. On remote days and school vacation weeks, training is carried out remotely. It is possible to continue the education with an internship period according to the student’s personal plan. The length and content of the internship period are planned together with the student and the company.

The training takes place at the premises of the Sampo campus (Sepänkyläntie 16, 65100 Vaasa). On the Sampo campus, students study in modern facilities with the same equipment and tools that are also used in working life.

The interviews will be held 18.9.2024 at The Ostrobothnia TE Office in Vaasa. A text message/SMS invitation will be sent to the interviewees.

MORE INFORMATION
The workforce training is intended primarily for unemployed and threatened unemployment clients of the TE-office, whose job search is valid at the TE-office. Workforce training is free of charge for the student. Unemployment benefit and expense reimbursement can be paid for the duration of the training.
